During the spring and summer months, conditions that create severe weather such as thunderstorms, dangerous thunderstorms, lightning strikes and tornadoes may develop at any time and with little warning.
All members of the Missouri S&T campus should be familiar with these types of weather conditions and the proper procedures for seeking shelter during severe weather activity. Missouri S&T faculty, staff and students are advised to sign up or update their contact information here. In the event of severe weather, emergencies or campus closures, Missouri S&T will notify the campus community through the mass notification system.
