The National Weather Service in Springfield, Missouri, has issued a wind chill watch from tomorrow evening (Tuesday, Jan. 29) through the morning of Thursday, Jan. 31. Dangerously cold wind chills (40 degrees below 0) are possible in Phelps County and surrounding counties. The wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
