The National Weather Service is predicting severe storms in the Rolla area from mid-morning through late afternoon today (Wednesday, May 8). The storms could produce high winds, heavy rain, lightning and hail. The campus community is reminded to seek shelter during a tornado warning by going to the lowest floor possible in a building. Shelter in an interior room with no windows, such as restrooms, closets or other interior rooms to put as many walls as possible between you and the outdoors. Get more tips at ready.gov.
