At approximately 8 p.m. today (Monday, Aug.7), a bald white male wearing orange striped pants and brown work boots escaped from the Phelps County Jail.
The escaped prisoner is not believed to be armed and there is believed to be no threat to the campus at this time. was last seen running west from the Phelps County Jail toward O’Reilly automotive on 2nd Street.
Faculty, staff and students are asked to be aware of your surroundings and to report any sightings or suspicious activity to police by calling 911.
